Personal Farewells
Involvement in the preparation & personalisation of a casket is widely understood as being an important introduction to acceptance of the death of a loved one & the celebration of their life. PeacePod® is committed to extending the options for involvement in preparation of a casket for the farewell celebration of a loved one.
Coloured Caskets
A natural casket base with a pop of colour. With sufficient lead time we are able to paint your casket to the colour you desire, or you can paint it yourself. The leather handles can also be painted to blend into the casket or to stand out.
If you wish to paint your casket yourself please advise when ordering.
Water based paint is recommended to be used for environmentally sustainable burials.
Personalised Caskets
A blank canvas for you to share with your loved ones and personalise however you wish. Some of the ways in which PeacePod caskets have been personalised by our clients have included written poems, paint handprints, children's drawings, photographic collages and more. However you wish to personalise it is up to you and your loved ones.
Water based paint and pens are recommended to be used for environmentally sustainable burials.
Printed Caskets
A casket that can be personalised with an image. A printed image can be adhered to the casket surface to display any digital image you wish, be it a family photo, a special landscape scene or a favourite sporting team in action.
PeacePod® does not offer the service of wrapping the casket. Please discuss with a printing company of your choice.
Please discuss with your funeral arranger to ensure that the material chosen is suitable to the planned burial or cremation.
Casket Accesories
Many families wish to include some accessories to the end of the casket and name plates are a requirement on all funeral vessels. Please check with your funeral arranger for required detailed information. Other accessories may include metal decals or ornaments that hold significance to the deceased or loved ones.
PeacePod®
does not provide these casket accessories, however accessories can be easily added to your PeacePod®
by your funeral arranger or by the family after delivery.

How to Order a PeacePod Casket
- Choose Your Ordering Method:
- Direct from PeacePod®: You can order directly by contacting PeacePod People Pty Ltd.
- Through Your Funeral Arranger (or Funeral Director/Family member/Doula): Ask your Funeral Arranger to supply a PeacePod for the funeral. Many new generation funeral directors will not charge an additional fee, however we recommend you confirm this with your funeral director as some funeral homes may charge a handling fee.
2. Place Your Order:
- For direct orders, contact PeacePod People Pty Ltd at 0412 232 221.
- Provide all necessary details and complete payment in full.
3. Arrange Delivery:
- Your PeacePod casket can be delivered to your home, the Funeral Director, or another designated location.
- Delivery charges will be quoted based on your location.
4. Plan Ahead:
- If planning in advance, store your PeacePod in a clean, dry place. It will remain in excellent condition until needed.
